Refund and Returns Policy

Thank you for shopping at Midnight Snack! Our goal is to ensure you are delighted with your purchase. Due to the perishable nature of our products, we have the following policy for refunds and returns.

General Policy: All Sales Are Final

For health and safety reasons, we cannot accept returns on perishable food items. Once candy and other food products leave our facility, we cannot control their storage conditions or guarantee their safety. Therefore, all sales are final. We do not offer refunds or exchanges for issues related to personal taste preference or for orders where a customer has changed their mind.

Exceptions: When We Will Make It Right

We are committed to quality and will happily resolve issues for orders where we have made an error. We will offer a replacement or a full refund in the following situations:

  • Damaged Products: If your order arrives with items that are crushed, open, or otherwise damaged in a way that affects their quality.

  • Incorrect Items: If you receive an item that you did not order.

  • Defective Products: If you believe a product is stale, spoiled, or otherwise defective.

How to Report an Issue

If your order falls into one of the exception categories above, please follow these steps:

  1. Contact Us Promptly: You must contact us within 7 days of receiving your order. We cannot address issues reported after this window.

  2. Provide Proof: Send an email to info@midnight-snack.ca with the following information:

    • Your full name and order number.

    • A clear description of the issue.

    • A photograph showing the damaged, incorrect, or defective item(s). This is required for us to process your claim.

  3. Wait for Our Response: Do not discard the items until you have heard back from us. We will review your claim and get back to you within 1-2 business days.

Once we verify the issue, we will either ship a replacement product to you at no cost or issue a full refund to your original method of payment.

Shipping & Delivery Issues

  • Weather Conditions (Melting): We are not responsible for products that melt or are otherwise damaged due to weather conditions during transit. Please be mindful of the weather and temperature at your shipping destination when placing an order. We recommend being home for delivery to bring your package inside promptly. (Pro Tip: Consider offering ice packs for an additional fee during checkout in warmer months as a customer option).

  • Incorrect Address: The customer is responsible for providing a complete and accurate shipping address. We are not responsible for lost or returned packages due to an incorrect address provided by the customer.
